Last Friday was Lauren's first day of kindergarten. I have wanted so badly to freeze time ever since she was born so I could keep her my baby forever. Sadly, I just couldn't figure out how to do that. Now she's five years old and so confident and secure she wouldn't even let me take her to school on the first day! She decided she wanted to ride the school bus with her sister and neighborhood friends and even though I asked her 50 times if she was sure, she wouldn't change her mind. So Friday morning we walked to the bus stop (I should be thankful she let me do THAT) and waited for the bus to wisk her away. Sure enough, as soon as it pulled to a stop she jumped aboard without looking back and off she went. Oh, the ache in my heart...

That is so weird that your baby is in kindergarten. Maybe you'll have to have another one now!! She sure looks cute in her outfit and with her backpack. Is she enjoying kindergarten so far? Does she go for just half a day?
I can't believe that Lauren is in kinderarten either. I remember holding her as a baby. Her camouflage outfit is very cute-stylin'. Did the girls plan to dress similar. Sounds like she is lil' miss independent. How is she liking kindergarten?

Lauren is really enjoying kindergarten so far. They have a weird schedule this year where she goes all day Monday, Wednesday and Friday of one week and only Monday and Wednesday the next week. I don't think it's a good idea at all. She has definitely become Miss Independent.
