One of the fun things we do every Christmas is bake lots of goodies to take to friends, family and neighbors. By WE, I mean the kids and I. Aaron's usually working so much, he misses out. This year he surprised me by asking, "So, when are we baking cookies?". So last night we tackled a batch of gingerbread men. Decorating the cookies seemed to be tougher than he expected and Aaron cracked me up when he said he's much better with a welder than a tube of frosting. In the end they all turned out very cute and we had lots of fun in the process.

How fun! David and I made and decorated Christmas cookies once-I think it was the first Christmas after we were married-I was so "Suzy Homemaker"! I wish we had more time to do it now-we just always seem to be so busy!
