Let the Fun Begin!

Well, I finally kept my word and have attended a photography class the past two evenings. It's just a three night workshop that covers all the basics but it's a start. Last night we covered manual operation of the camera and I began to feel a bit overwhelmed because I knew this was something I wouldn't learn to do quickly. Then I reminded myself that I don't need to learn it quickly and felt much better. Most people go through many years of training and education preparing for their chosen career and photography doesn't have to be any different. I'm excited to finally be moving forward now toward achieving my dream.

Well, tomorrow the big day finally arrives. The day that I have been looking forward to for a year. The day I have mentioned in probably at least five posts. The day I leave for TEXAS! Hurray, it's finally here! I can't wait to hang out with my friends and play for four days. San Antonio, here I come!

Good job! I'm glad you're finally taking a class! And no, its definitly not something you have to learn overnight! Relax! Have fun!
I was wondering when you were leaving for Texas. I knew it was this month and we're nearing the end of the month! I couldn't imagine that you wouldn't post anything about your trip! Have fun and be safe! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Do you remember when we ate at In-n-Out together a few summers ago and we talked about how we had forgotten who we are, you know being mom's and all? And the things we wanted to do when our kids got older? Can you believe that you get do those things now?? Awesome, I am glad you are following your dreams. Have fun with it. And try to stay cool in TX, Don't suffocate from the humidity.

Maybe you'll see Erik Manning in TX. He will be there for two days!

I can't wait to see some of your "work". Now you'll have to start a photog blog too!
