Downtown
It's been a bit of an uneventful week so for lack of anything interesting to say, I've decided to just post some photos I recently took of Main St. At first I felt a little silly walking up and down the street snapping pictures but I got over it pretty quickly. Once I hear the click of the camera shutter (love that sound!) I begin getting really excited about what I am capturing and the embarrassment slips away.

These pics remind me of a painting you had in your home. I love the way little towns look and feel. they make me want to jump in the stream and eat watermelon all day...oh and milk a cow.:)
I have always loved old houses and buildings (something I got from my mom) so I was really excited to move to a town with historic buildings on Main St. To be fair, not all of Emmett is picture perfect, I just choose to focus on the parts that are. Michelle, I can just see you milking a cow!!!
