Carving Jack-O-Lanterns!

Those are so cool! We were huge losers and didn't get to carving pumpkins this year. Crazy life going on!!

When did I miss out on the memo that your kids were professional pumpkin carvers?! :) I'm with Meggan-we didn't carve one this year either. In fact I don't think we've carved one since our first "married" Halloween! I have good intentions every year, but with work and getting everything ready for our annual party, it never happens! Hope ya'll had a great Halloween!

Wow!! How in the heck did they do that?? I was lucky as a kid if it at all resembled a face, these should be on the cover of Martha Stewart's magazine!

The kids were so tired of doing the same old faces, they wanted to try something new this year. I found the kitty cat face and bat patterns online and I drew out the flower pattern myself. They were actually really easy to carve. Carving pumpins used to be such a chore but now that everyone can do them themselves it's a lot of fun!
